Our Corgi puppies are raised with constant attention and care. We keep a close eye on each litter and monitor their growth daily. Our interactions with these puppies begin at birth with frequent checking and holding. By 2 days old, we begin Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) consisting of 5 daily exercises for each puppy. This method was developed originally by the US military for their future canines, and it has proven to produce puppies that are smarter, better able to handle stressors and change, and with better immune systems. We continue this daily handling until the puppies are 14-16 days old or are opening their eyes.
This is a testimony from one of my puppy buyers (who brought home two puppies) when we were talking about the difference ENS makes. "I am amazed at how well they're doing already! Especially with the other dogs too! You did such a great job getting them ready for their forever homes!! (ENS) makes a huge difference!! It's as if they've been with us their whole lives already!" At 3-4 weeks old once the puppies are beginning to walk, we introduce a litter box of pine pellets. We begin placing them in the box after they wake from naps and if we notice them starting to go. Within a week they are usually 90% poop trained, and 50-60% pee trained for the box. And it continues to improve as they grow. By the time they go home they 100% poop in the box and are 80-85% pee trained. This can be super helpful for those who want to wait to outdoor potty train till their bladders are a little larger. And in general, from the very beginning, it trains the puppies that there are designated potty spots and that they can't just go anywhere they want. It engrains cleanliness in them from the beginning. Once the puppies are old enough, we begin to introduce different smells, sounds and sights. We will daily pet and socialize them and ensure they are growing properly and hitting milestones. When the weather allows, the litter is taken on field trips around our property to introduce them to different areas, walking surfaces, and experiences. We begin training not to nip around 6 weeks old, and around 7 weeks we introduce a crate into the pen so they can get used to sleeping in it and learn that a crate is a safe place. In addition to all of this. Photos and videos are taken weekly and posted on my Facebook and Instagram pages! So, you can follow along as they grow and save pictures. By six weeks of age, the mother has generally weaned the litter and they are eating solid foods. We de-worm the litter at 3, 5 and 7 weeks then begin the first in a series of core vaccines at 6 weeks of age. At around 4-5 weeks of age, we begin to see individual personalities emerging. We begin to evaluate their personalities and differentiate between the puppies. The pup's temperament, reactions, and sociability are noted and we inform their parents so they can get to know their puppies better. We take great care in providing you with the best possible furry best friend, and we invest so much time into planning our litters, health testing our breeding dogs, and vetting our future families. We just want the best possible experience for the puppy and for the new puppy family! Once you bring your new best friend home, we are always available for any questions that may arise. We provide support for life and hope to be updated periodically on your puppy's progress. And we require that if anything were to come up in the future where you were no longer able to care for your puppy, that he/she be returned to us so we can find a proper home. [Unless a family member or a trusted friend of yours can take care of him/her.] |

Adopting one of our Corgi puppies begins with placing your name on our puppy waiting list generally if you want a merle or bluie. Sometimes we have tricolors available without being put on a waitlist. Our policy is to place names on a waiting list in the order in which they are received. We require a $150 deposit to hold your spot on the waitlist. Your deposit will go towards the total purchase price of the puppy. If a puppy is not produced according to your wishes, we will refund that deposit. However, if one litter has passed by that had a puppy within your color/sex preference you could have choses, or you have been on the waitlist for 1 year, the deposit becomes non-refundable. You may stay on the waitlist as long as you like until you meet your perfect puppy! Once a litter is born, we will contact those on our waiting list to begin the adoption/selection process in the order in which you were placed on the list. Each person has the option when contacted to choose a puppy or a pick in line, or wait for another litter. Once a selection is made we require a deposit of $500 (if you have previously sent a $150 waitlist deposit) $650 if not. Once this deposit is received via check, Venmo, Zelle or Paypal and a Corgi puppy is selected, it is a commitment to adopt a dog and is therefore non-refundable. Puppies will stay with the litter until they reach eight weeks of age and have been fully weaned. We will be in touch with you to arrange a pick-up date, at which time the full adoption fee will be due in cash. We update Facebook and Instagram weekly with photos and videos as your puppies grow so you can watch them mature! We do not allow visitors until the puppies have had their first shot at 6 weeks old. Parvo is especially prevalent in wet states, and we don't want to take ANY chance of bringing this horrible disease to puppies who have not had a vaccine for it yet. ANY QUESTIONS?
